True links course, located at the start of the famous 90 Mile Beach. The greens are slick and true and always in good condition and if the sea breeze is coming in it can make some holes long and challenging. With both views, atmosphere and sometimes a little attitude. This is a great golf course.
Country golf course with an emphasis on accuracies that rewards a good short game,one of my favourite’s. The course has a beautiful layout with a number of holes hugging the banks of a rambling stream. A variety of elevated tees & greens make this an interesting pleasant course that keeps you honest.
Kerikeri has beautifully presented greens & fairways, is well bunkered with water hazards set in park-like grounds. There are some distinctive holes that will tempted the courageous and can make a round memorable. The spectacular 13th is the one that will standout the most. A beautiful course and only 20 minutes drive from the motel.
Our home course only 3 mins from the motel has two distinctive sides, the front 9 set amongst pockets of native forest, is quite tight and sheltered, then crossing to the back 9 the course opens out and lays before you with the fairways reaching out to the beautiful Bay Of Islands, almost to the waters edge. “Very special.”
